Damping Force Adjustment
DFA (DAMPING FORCE ADJUSTMENT) Mechanism
Damper damping force can be adjusted by turning the dial (12 turns). This allows for precise adjustments to suit the riding situation and the vehicle. suppressing roll and pitching for increased stability.

Damper Shaft Surface Treatment + DLC Coating
The ultra-mirror-finished damper rod is treated with Arc-DLC coating.
Unlike paint or anodizing. this coating is a nano-level thin film composed of carbon and hydrogen applied to the metal surface.
This also improves oil sealing and extends the dampers life.
The shaft is machined and mirror-finished in a Japanese factory. and the coating is provided by a domestic company renowned for ICF. PECVD. and DLC.

New Port Shape
The NARD damper generates damping force by circulating oil within the shaft.
Revised oil lines have improved damping force buildup.
Damper suppleness. Improved response. Improved traction. and Easier feedback of road feel.

Piston Shape
Increasing the piston thickness increases damper rigidity and significantly reduces backlash during stroke.
Grooves in the piston section that contacts the cylinder reduce friction.
By varying the concave radius of the groove and the radius of the piston body. we prevent jamming with the damper cylinder (a rough feeling).
By drilling a tiny 0.3mm hole in the top.
we adjust the dampers rebound and compression damping.

Suspension Structure
Weve completely redesigned the construction of conventional RC oil dampers. The NARD Damper successfully allows oil to flow within the shaft. just like a real car shock. This. unlike oil flowing through a piston hole. provides completely different damping force across the entire range than previous RC dampers.

Optional Accessories

Adjustable Spring Retainer
A threaded spring retainer specifically designed for Nard dampers.
The retainer allows you to adjust the spring preload.
The ball end mounting position can also be adjusted up or down. allowing you to adjust the overall length of the damper.
Securing the retainer with a pillow ball allows you to easily adjust the damping dial by holding the retainer with your hand.

How to Adjust Damping Force
Turn the red dial toward - for softer damping. or toward + for firmer damping.
Rotate the click (damping force adjustment dial) clockwise until it stops at click 0 (highest damping).
Using this 0 position as the base. rotating counterclockwise will decrease the damping force.
The weakest position is 12 turns from 0 (the lowest damping force position).
If you dont know how many turns you have made. return it to 0 position and then adjust it again.
