[Driving on roadless roads by shifting] Electric radio control that reproduces the Toyota Hilux (RN36), a four-wheel drive pickup truck that gained a lot of support in the 1980s, mainly in the United States, but also in Japan, and is still very popular today. This is a car assembly kit. Equipped with an assembled 3-speed transmission using a 540 motor on a ladder frame similar to the actual vehicle, you can enjoy light gear changes while driving with RC operation. The suspension is a rigid type with a metal axle housing positioned using leaf springs and oil dampers, and a radius rod at the rear. The front is also equipped with a metal under guard to support tough riding. In addition, the realistic construction uses many metal parts such as the ladder frame, leaf springs, axle housing, and wheel hubs, making it a lot of fun to assemble. The body equipped with a sleeper cab is made of styrene resin using a precision mold to give it a scale feel. Equipped with large tires with a diameter of 123mm, the vehicle height is greatly raised, making it attractive.

[Actual vehicle description] Among the third generation Hilux (30/40 series) that was introduced in 1978 as Toyotas pickup truck, the RN36 type was developed as an export-only model. The compact and lightweight body is equipped with a 1968cc 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 98 horsepower, providing sporty and powerful driving performance. Furthermore, the rigid axle suspension, with the front leaf spring shackles placed at the rear, ensured a sufficient ground obstacle angle in both the front and rear, and was used in cross-country driving and trial competitions. It also features a tall style with over fenders on both the front and rear and large diameter tires. The RN36 type was mainly exported to North America, but later on, sales started in Japan, where it became popular and was called Saburoku, and is still loved by fans all over the world.
