The long-awaited belt drive 4WD chassis of the TA series that combines speed and maneuverability!
The brand new 4WD touring chassis bearing the TA name will be released for the first time in five years.
Upper deckless & slim style that adopts a lightweight and new shape chassis that balances the position of the center of gravity and rigidity at a high level.
The layout has a motor set at almost the same position as the TRF420 and a spur gear in front of the motor.
The newly designed upper and lower arms that effectively utilize the grip of the tires have a more inclined mounting angle.
Equipped with SSBB (Super Short Big Bore) damper as standard equipment.
Based on the know-how of the touring chassis that has appeared so far and the data obtained from the race
Tamiya Challenge Cup regulation speed range. best balance in setting
The concept was TA08 PRO chassis.
Chassis layout without the upper deck. While tilting the battery / mechanical parts to raise the center of gravity.
While keeping the overall height / width / weight low and reducing the force to roll the vehicle body from side to side.
Achieves appropriate pitching (longitudinal) / roll (horizontal) rigidity.
The weight balance is optimized by arranging the batteries / RC devices at an angle.
Keeping the overall height / width / weight low. the speed range of Tamiya Challenge Cup regulation.
Achieves the best balance that demonstrates high driving performance on relatively low grip road surfaces.
The chassis has a V-shape with an inclined bottom and carbon fiber-containing resin to ensure rigidity even without an upper deck.
The balance between pitching (vertical direction) and roll (horizontal direction) rigidity has also been optimized.
The front side of the rear suspension is a specification that mounts the suspension bush directly on the chassis.
The slim chassis shape reduces road interference when rolling.
In addition. a hole is made in the urethane bumper to make it easier for air to flow between the tire and the bumper.
By devising it. the running stability has been improved.
By arranging the spur gear position in front of the motor. the difference in front and rear belt lengths can be suppressed.
Achieves stable machine behavior. At the same time. even if the tension is loosened by shortening the belt length
Resonance is unlikely to occur. reducing drive loss.
The new suspension. which increases rigidity and brings out the grip of the tire. supports the A-type upper arm with a ball.
Compared to the conventional I-type upper arm suspension type. the tires are more likely to be loaded.
You can pull out the tire grip firmly even in the speed range of Tamichare and the road surface with relatively low grip.
The rear suspension equipped with a toe control function (*) has a suspension mount that is a hanging type.
By increasing the rigidity around the rear. the rear grip and running stability are improved.
The front and rear SSBB dampers are used as dampers.
* Adjust the rear toe angle according to the subduction of the suspension during cornering.
Function to increase traction by changing continuously
Equipped with a storage box that can compactly organize the cords that connect the servo or speed controller to the receiver.
By refreshing the area around the RC device. you can avoid inadvertent troubles.
